Cosmic Treasury
The Cosmic Treasury is a space-themed finance strategy game where teams manage a fictional colony with 10,000 Cosmic Credits. Over six rounds, participants trade assets, react to market decrees, use secret intelligence, negotiate, participate in an auction, make investments, and take calculated risks. The winner is the team with the highest final Cosmic Wealth, testing financial judgement, strategy, timing, information use, and risk management.

AetherHack
AetherHack is a national ideathon by INSPIRE, the Science and Research Club of NIT Rourkela. Open to college students across India, it invites original ideas in Sustainability, Robotics, Healthcare and an Open Track. Round 1 is online on Unstop with a written abstract. Ten finalists then pitch offline at Innovision before a professor panel. Winners share a ₹5,000 prize pool, enjoy three days of Innovision, and receive professor mentorship.

DRM Escape
Cyclone Kalinga hits in three hours, the phone networks are down, and your team is running the control room. Crack codes, race across campus, and make the calls that decide who gets help first. Grab two to four friends, bring a cool head, and walk in as students. Walk out as responders.

Earth 404
EARTH 404 is a two-day environmental and sustainability competition, with School Students participating on Day 1 and College Students on Day 2. The event challenges participants to understand, analyse, and respond to real-world ecological problems through engaging challenges that test environmental awareness, critical thinking, quick decision-making, analytical skills, and solution-building. Integrating technology, sustainability, and the celestial theme of INNOVISION, EARTH 404 takes participants from identifying environmental challenges to developing practical, innovative solutions.

Astronaut In Distress
Astronaut in Distress is a two-member team challenge that simulates high-pressure space mission emergencies. Teams take on the roles of Astronaut and Mission Control, working together to solve technical problems, interpret mission instructions, and complete hands-on tasks. With communication challenges, time pressure, and unexpected obstacles, participants must demonstrate teamwork, quick thinking, technical knowledge, and precise coordination to successfully complete their mission.

Dead Man's Switch
Each team consists of 2 or 3 participants. At the beginning of the event, the team will be randomly given a physical challenge. The selected participant will be designated as the “Dead Man” and must continuously perform the assigned physical activity while the remaining team members attempt to complete two consecutive challenges. The two stages are: 1. Puzzle Challenge 2. Buzz Wire Challenge After successfully completing both stages, the team will receive two clues. Using these clues, the Dead Man must identify and answer the final question within a maximum of three attempts. The team that completes the entire challenge in the minimum time will be declared the winner. Each team must complete the entire challenge within 150 seconds ( 2 minutes and 30 seconds).

FINAL FRONTIER
Final Frontier is an action-packed Business Bulletin Club event designed to test business instinct, creativity, negotiation, and reflexes. Participants will compete across three engaging activities: 30-Minute CEO, featuring rapid-fire business challenges; Barter Boss, where participants create value through strategic trading; and Bottle Grab, testing speed and reflexes. With fast-paced challenges, competitive energy, and exciting prizes, the event transforms business skills into an interactive campus experience.

NOVAGRID
Mission NovaGrid is an interactive space-themed strategy game where players must find a new habitable planet after their home planet is destroyed. With limited fuel and credits, every route and decision matters. Players solve challenges, manage resources, and test different planets while adapting to unexpected outcomes. Designed for individuals or teams, the game combines strategy, problem-solving, and suspense in an engaging 15–20 minute experience.

LITTLE SCIENCE YARD
Little Science Yard (LSY) is AASRA’s annual flagship science exhibition designed to ignite curiosity and creative thinking among underprivileged students across various sectors. The event brings young minds together to showcase innovative working models and science projects at NIT Rourkela. Through interactive demonstrations, hands-on learning, and mentorship, LSY offers these students a unique platform to explore scientific concepts, build confidence, and present their ideas to an audience.

CYCLOTHON 5.0
Cyclothon 2026 is a cycling marathon organized by the SDG Campus Club every year as part of INNOVISION Fest. The event aims to promote sustainable transportation, environmental awareness, physical fitness, and active participation in building a healthier and more sustainable future. Participants take 2 rounds of the entire campus starting from Jagda Gate, covering a total of 17 checkpoints, corresponding to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals given by the United Nations.

Virtual racing competition
The Virtual Racing Championship offers participants an immersive, high-fidelity motorsport driving experience. Utilizing professional-grade simulator hardware and software, the event replicates real-world Formula-style racing dynamics. Participants navigate technical virtual circuits, competing for the fastest lap time on a live updated leaderboard.

Intelligent Trader 12.0
A fun trading event, where participants predict hardships and their solutions to navigate their path through a series of challenges. Participants participate strategically in an auction round, followed by multiple trading rounds to ultimately gather enough ammunition to successfully complete all missions and their journey, while spending their money carefully.

Circuit Heist
Circuit Heist is a two-day, team-based technical challenge where participants have to recover a sabotaged electronic system. Instead of solving five independent questions, they progress through a connected chain of challenges. They first decode a digital clue, then debug an electronic circuit, solve a logic lock, analyze a timing waveform and finally complete a Verilog RTL challenge. Every successful stage gives them a key to access the next one. Hints and wrong submissions carry time penalties, so both technical ability and strategy matter. The final recovered keys lead to a system-recovery code, and teams are ranked based on their effective completion time.

REACT
REACT: The IIChE Engineering Challenge is an interactive, team-based chemical engineering competition that goes beyond the conventional quiz format by combining technical knowledge, problem-solving, strategy, and resource management. Participants will be provided with a limited set of stationery, hint tokens, process cards, and other resources, which they must use strategically to solve a series of chemical engineering challenges within a fixegived time. From constructing process flows and solving engineering problems to making critical decisions about when to use hints or conserve resources, every round will test the participants’ ability to think efficiently under constraints. The event aims to create an engaging and competitive environment where participants are rewarded not only for what they know, but also for how effectively they apply their knowledge, manage limited resources, and make decisions under pressure.

MATERIALVERSE
"Material Verse" is an interactive technical challenge where participants become engineering decision-makers and select suitable materials for real-world applications. Teams must balance strength, weight, cost, corrosion and temperature resistance, manufacturability, and service conditions. Using BIS Standard Cards and relevant Indian Standards, participants identify non-compliance, respond to unexpected conditions, and defend their final material selection through technical reasoning, standards-based decisions, and cost optimisation.
